How it all started
This wild idea didn’t come from a single moment; it slowly unfolded over years of late-night conversations, dreaming big after the kids were asleep, and one pivotal personal development course in Bali that helped us finally ask: What do we really want?
We did the thing. Kids, careers, renovating four homes (okay, Tom did the heavy lifting, I nailed the Pinterest boards). On paper, life looked great. But inside? We felt it. The pressure. The pace. The constant chasing.
We were tired. Stretched thin. Missing slow mornings and moments that mattered. What we really craved was a reset, a slower, more intentional way to live, together.
So we paused. We questioned everything.
And then, we decided to rewrite the script.
A creative mind with an adventurous heart
Hi, I’m Bridget, mum of three, married to my favourite human, Tom, and now travelling the world full-time with our family after packing up our South Fremantle (Western Australia) life and taking it on the road globally. I’m 42, caffeine-powered (almond cappuccino with a dash of honey, thanks), and almost three years alcohol-free. I love good design, great shoes, and apparently making life a little harder by trying to fit my entire wardrobe into a suitcase. My kids say my fashion sense is cringe, but I prefer to think of it as creatively confident.
After running a fast-paced business for over eight years, I realised the version of “success” I’d been chasing wasn’t leaving much room for the things that actually mattered, like slow mornings, creative flow, and more time with my girls. So I pivoted. Hard. I immersed myself in branding, digital marketing, photography, content creation, and web design, all the tools that allow me to build work that’s flexible, creative, and completely portable.
This blog is where it all comes together. It’s where I share our life on the road, the realities of full-time family travel, and everything we’re learning as we choose curiosity over routine and presence over pace.
But this journey isn’t just about changing how we live. It’s about showing our daughters that bold moves are worth it. That life doesn’t have to follow a traditional script. And that just because school didn’t always make space for their strengths, it doesn’t mean they’re not capable. We’re world-schooling our girls in the wildest classroom there is, real life.
